  • The district has a total sown area of 113,820 hectares. Agricultural organizations cover 75.1% of this area, which is equivalent to 85,493 hectares. Household farms occupy 4%, totaling 4,542 hectares, while peasant and individual farms cover 20.9%, amounting to 23,785 hectares

Recreational resources

  • Water bodies suitable for fishing include the reservoir Kovalev on the scenic bank of the Zelenchuk River in the environmentally pristine area of Ust-Labinsk district, Kubansky. Another fishing spot is the Pervomaysky water body on the Maly Zelenchuk River, situated in the Nekrasovsky rural settlement
  • In Ust-Labinsk district, there are several springs: Kholodok and Khrustalik in Kirpilskaya village, the healing font of the Holy and Righteous John of Kronstadt in Novoselovka farm, and the holy spring of John of Kronstadt, a rare find. In the 20th century, researchers discovered silver ions in the water of this font. Additionally, there is the holy spring of Paraskeva Pyatnitsa located between the villages of Novolabinskaya and Nekrasovskaya in Ust-Labinsk district
  • The Alexander Fortress in Ust-Labinsk is a historical monument and a popular tourist destination. General A.V. Suvorov built the Alexander fortification in 1778 as a part of the Kuban line. In 2020, the Ust-Labinsk fortress was added to the regional list of cultural heritage sites
  • In the village Voronezhskaya of Ust-Labinsk district stands a remarkable monument of Orthodox architecture, the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Built in 1914, this monumental brick building showcases an eclectic architectural style
  • First N.I. Lobachevsky University Lyceum. It was established with the support of Oleg Deripaska’s Volnoe Delo Foundation

Alexander Fortress

The Alexander Fortress in Ust-Labinsk is a historical monument and a popular tourist destination. General A.V. Suvorov built the Alexander fortification in 1778 as a part of the Kuban line. In 2020, the Ust-Labinsk fortress was added to the regional list of cultural heritage sites.

The First Lobachevsky University Lyceum

The Moscow State University branch in Ust-Labinsk consists of three buildings. This educational institution welcomes gifted children from across the country, currently accommodating 475 students. It was built with the help of Oleg Deripaska’s Volnoe Delo Foundation.
